What we collect

Caff2 is built around two things: your Google account and a phone number for WhatsApp/SMS. Both are core to how the service works, not optional extras.

From Google sign-in, depending on what you grant access to: your Gmail (to read and, only when you ask, draft or send messages), your Google Calendar, and - only if you use those features - Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Tasks.

From your phone number: the number itself, and the content of messages you exchange with us over WhatsApp, SMS, or Slack, so the assistant can hold a conversation with you there.

How we use it

Our goal is to provide intelligence at a personal level - an assistant that actually knows your inbox, your calendar, and your day, instead of starting from zero every time. Concretely, that means we may use your data to:

Google user data

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Gmail or Calendar data to serve advertisements, and we do not use it to train general-purpose AI models. Any AI processing of your data is done to serve you, specifically, in the moment you asked for help.

Third parties

To function, your messages are processed by Anthropic (our AI provider) to generate responses. WhatsApp/SMS messages are delivered via Twilio and/or Meta. Flight, shopping, and ride searches are sent to Ignav, SerpApi, Uber, and Ola respectively, as needed to answer your specific request - not your Gmail or Calendar content.

Retention & deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account permissions page, or email us to request full account deletion.

Security

Credentials are encrypted at rest; access is limited to what each part of the system needs to operate.
