By signing in, connecting a phone number, or otherwise using Caff2 ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Caff2 is a personal AI assistant, currently in private beta, reachable over WhatsApp, SMS, and a connected web account. It's designed to act on your behalf across a broad set of everyday tasks, including but not limited to: reading and drafting email, managing your calendar and tasks, creating documents/spreadsheets/presentations, setting reminders, proactively surfacing things it thinks need your attention, and helping you search for and book flights, shopping, and rides through third-party services. The specific capabilities may expand, change, or be removed at any time as the Service evolves.
You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. If you're using it on behalf of an organization, you're representing that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Access is via Google sign-in and, optionally, a linked phone number for WhatsApp/SMS. You're responsible for keeping access to those accounts secure - anyone who can act as you on Google or your phone can act as you through this Service. Connecting a Google account grants us the scopes you explicitly approve during that flow; you can review or revoke them at any time from your Google Account settings.
The Service can take real-world actions when you ask it to - sending emails, creating or canceling calendar events, editing documents. Where an action is meaningfully irreversible (like sending an email or making a booking), the Service will seek your confirmation first, except where you've explicitly told it to act autonomously for that kind of request. You are responsible for reviewing what the Service proposes before confirming it.
Some features (flights, shopping, rides) work by searching third-party providers and linking you to them to complete the transaction yourself. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any transaction you complete with a third-party provider - their own terms and policies govern that transaction, not ours.
You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, to abuse, spam, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or security controls, to reverse-engineer the Service, or to use it in any way that could harm other users or the Service itself. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section without notice.
This is beta software. Features may be incomplete, may change without notice, and may occasionally behave incorrectly - including, rarely, taking an action you didn't intend. Do not rely on the Service for anything where an error would cause serious harm (e.g., safety-critical, financial, or legal decisions) without independently verifying the outcome.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time by revoking access and/or requesting account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms or to protect the integrity of the Service.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
